While the boys were being
constructive in the kitchen, the girls were being decorative in
the lounge.

A morning of leisure and a visit
to the local Brocante in Gorron brings our first piece of French
furniture in the form of a 'Vaisselliére'.
 |
As it arrived, on the left. Grubby,
a single piece of yellowed frosted glass in one door and
broken drawer handles. Transformed, on the right. Cleaned and
polished with new glass and drawer handles.

With the painting complete,
additional furniture in place and pictures on the wall, the
lounge at last looks like a lounge and it has that 'feature'
ceiling at last.
The great outdoors ...
